White tooth fillings

We can give you a solution in one appointment. If you are timid about opening your mouth because of this unsightly metal, then replacing your fillings with white composite (resins) this composite fillings are also called plastic or white fillings. Our filling material is a more natural looking, stronger alternative to silver-mercury fillings, and that’s why our patients are thrilled with their new restorations. We always recommend that you replace your old metal fillings because old fillings usually hide decay and newer materials wear better, ensuring your long-term dental health.

There are many reasons people prefer white fillings to traditional fillings. Not only are white fillings matched to your natural tooth color so that they cannot be noticed, but white fillings also:

- Are made of a composite to act like natural teeth by expanding and contracting when they get hot or cold.
- Require less of the natural tooth to be removed when they are placed.
- Restore tooth strength, whereas metal amalgam fillings weaken teeth when they are placed.
- Do not contain mercury, a toxic substance, like traditional fillings.

Teeth whitening

Teeth naturally darken with age and their appearance can be affected by the accumulation of surface stains acquired from the use of chemicals and other agents in foods, drinks, cigarettes, red wine. Genetics can also contribute to the discoloration of your teeth.

Some people are just predisposed to having more yellowed teeth. Luckily, cosmetic dentists can provide you with tooth whitening that can whiten your teeth so that you have a smile that you can be proud of. Teeth whitening or bleaching can be done safely and effectively a number of different ways. Having your teeth whitened is one of the easiest ways to brighten and invigorate your smile. Tooth whitening is safe and effective, and the results of tooth whitening can be seen long after the tooth whitening treatment is completed.

Porcelain crowns

A dental crown acts like a prosthetic. If your tooth is damaged but not lost, a crown (also called a cap) can be used to cover the damaged part of your tooth. A crown protects your tooth from further damage. You may need a crown if you have a broken tooth, damaged as a result of decay, have a root canal, your tooth is badly stained, not the right shape or out of line.

Crowns or caps are one of the strongest ways to change your teeth and are appropriate for many people. All porcelain crowns reflect light giving the tooth a natural healthy glow but also if you have a hard bite we have porcelain fused to metal always for the posterior teeth. They are strong and last for about 10 years if you take good care of them.

Brush and floss your crown, just like you clean your natural teeth. A dental crown will restore your tooth to its original appearance and function (this is very important) and looks as natural as the rest of your teeth.

Root canal treatment

Dentists today believe that the best teeth are your own, and they make sure you do not lose any of them. Successful root canal treatment lets you keep your tooth. The only other option is to have your tooth removed.

A root canal procedure is the most common treatment performed by an endodontist. . This is generally performed under local anesthetic, so the root canal procedure is generally no more uncomfortable than getting a filling. The inside of the tooth is then disinfected and when the tooth has been properly prepared, the endodontist fills the root canals with a rubber-like material called gutta-percha filling. Then the last part is making the restoration with a filling or a crown. Saving a natural tooth avoids having to replace it with either a bridge or an implant.

Dental implants

Implant dentistry is the modern method of replacing missing teeth. Research shows that 85 percent of people who wear full or partial dentures experience some related discomfort and difficulty. Dental implants can eliminate those problems, restore self-confidence and improve the quality of life. From a single missing tooth to an entire set of teeth, dental implants can provide a permanent alternative to problem dentures and help prevent the premature loss of remaining teeth. If an accident remove totally a teeth we can place a dental implant. Dental implants are fixtures of titanium that are directly attached to your jawbone. Once anchored in place, your implants can be used to replace a missing tooth, an entire set of teeth, bridges or partial dentures. The result is a natural type of tooth replacement that can restore the biting and chewing ability (very important).

Dental cleaning and scaling

Dental cleaning specifically means that professional cleaning you can only receive from a dentist in dental clinic. This cleaning is the romoval of the plaque, tartar, and the number of bacteria in the surface on the teeth using Ultrasonic Scaler and especial rotatory brushes. Ultrasonic scaling removes calculus and reduces the number of harmful bacteria below the gum line. It is an important tool in the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease.
Fluoride treatment

Fluoride helps prevent tooth decay by making the tooth more resistant to acid attacks from plaque bacteria and sugars in the mouth. It also reverses early decay. In children under six years of age, fluoride becomes incorporated into the development of permanent teeth, making it difficult for acids to demineralize the teeth. Fluoride also helps speed remineralization as well as disrupts acid production in already erupted teeth of both children and adults.
Sealant treatment

A sealant is a plastic material that is usually applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. This plastic resin bonds into the depressions and grooves (pits and fissures) of the chewing surfaces of back teeth. The sealant acts as a barrier, protecting enamel from plaque and acids.
Thorough brushing and flossing help remove food particles and plaque from smooth surfaces of teeth. But toothbrush bristles cannot reach all the way into the depressions and grooves to extract food and plaque. Sealants protect these vulnerable areas by "sealing out" plaque and food. This treatment is also for adults and they can benefit from sealants as well.
Inlays and onlays treatment

To repair damage to the tooth’s biting surface, rather than using a simple filling, or a crown, a dentist will often use an inlay, or an onlay. Inlays and onlays can be made from porcelain, gold, or composite or ceramic resin, although porcelain is now becoming the material of choice because of its strength and potential to match the natural color of your tooth. An onlay is a more extensive reconstruction that covers one or more cusps of a tooth. Onlays are indicated in situations where a substantial reconstruction is required. Inlays and onlays are applied in two dental visits.
Direct post and indirect post

Post and core is a procedure to rebuild a tooth in order to provide proper support for a crown. The post will act like an anchor for the placement of crown. Post are usually recommended in case of inadequate support for a crown after a root canal treatment in
Temporary crowns

Temporary crowns can be made in your dentist's office whereas permanent crowns are made in a dental laboratory. Temporary crowns are made of acrylic or stainless steel and can be used as a temporary restoration until a permanent crown is constructed by the dental laboratory.
Crowns over implants

Crown over implants are ceramic fused over metal and are used to replace a missing tooth or molar after a Dental implant has been placed in the bone.
Dentures

Dentures are removable replacements for missing teeth typically made out of an acrylic resin which at times incorporate porcelain or metal for additional structural support. There are two main types of dentures. Both Complete Dentures and Partial Dentures are finely crafted, custom-fitted. If you properly maintain your dentures they will appear natural and provide a perfect smile. Additionally, dentures help strengthen muscles controlling your expressions that require the support of your teeth, rid you of pronunciation problems caused by missing teeth and aid with chewing.
Over dentures

Over Dentures is a type of conventional denture similar to Complete Dentures. The difference is that not all teeth are extracted and they use one or more natural teeth for their support. This type provides greater stabilization during chewing. Over Dentures requires more preparation dental appointments until the procedure is fully complete.
Implant retained dentures

A minimum of 2 implants can maintain a lower denture which would not otherwise be tolerated by that patient. More than two implants are needed for upper implant retained dentures. Although the dentures that fit over implants are considerably more expensive than standard dentures, they offer the added advantage of allowing upper dentures to be built in the shape of an arch instead of having to cover the entire palate. This is of special significance to people who otherwise cannot wear full dentures because they make them gag. Implant retained dentures have special significance for people who cannot wear lower dentures. As an edentulous (toothless) person ages, and the bone continues to resorb away, lower ridges frequently disappear entirely. Thus there is no vertical bone underlying the gums to stabilize a lower denture. These people frequently cannot wear a lower denture at all. The addition of two implants in the front of the lower jaw can make it possible to retain a lower denture which would otherwise be impossible for the patient to tolerate.
Tooth extraction

Broken, cracked, or extensively decayed teeth can be extraction candidates. Some teeth will have extensive decay or else will have broken or cracked in such an extreme manner that an extraction might de considered the best, or at least a reasonable, solution. Of course there will be a number of factors that will come into play with any specific situation. In some cases the obstacles that present themselves might be so formidable that a repair for tooth is simply not possible. In other cases the cost of needed dental treatment or lese a questionable long-term outlook may be reason an extraction is chosen, but if you lose a tooth you can also replace with a very good option “dental implant”
